Course Objectives


Through lectures and seminars held by experts in the relevant areas of Social Work, the course aims to provide additional knowledge useful for the world of work. At least 10 seminars related to the areas of Social Work are planned to be held throughout the academic year. It will be necessary to attend professionalising and work-oriented lectures/seminars and various seminars held by experts throughout the academic year in question, in addition to the necessary participation in the thematic conferences of the Degree Course in Social Work or related to L39 Degree Course.

Assessment Methods


As this is an attendance-only training activity, the result of which is expressed in suitability assessments, the learning assessment will be carried out by means of an interview, supported by a written report on the contents of the entire cycle of seminars attended.


The report may be handed in directly to the Head of Studies during office hours or prior to the examination, or sent to him/her via the Degree Course Apprenticeships Office (2nd floor - 3rd Faculty of Arts) one week before each roll call for the aptitude examination.


However, an examination in the form of an oral interview takes place.

Contents


The main training objective of the course is to provide students with a broader and more in-depth knowledge of the world of work, especially in the areas of professional social work and the sectors with which the future social worker will necessarily have to relate.






The expected competences are basically the formation of an awareness of employment options and the different areas of interest in the world of work.

Signature of attendance at each seminar is required.

An absence of 30% (e.g. 3 out of 10 seminars) is permitted on the scheduled seminars.
