Syllabus

Course Objectives

In order to achieve general learning objectives of the Degree Course, also considering the formative aims expected from the students (job outline suitable for private and public companies, as well as third sector and public administrations), the Course provides a complete and updated description of the main notions of economic law (i.e. banking and financial markets law). A particular section is referred to banks and their activity, banking contracts, payment services, financial intermediation operations, regulation of listed markets and issuers.
At the end of the course, students must have acquired the knowledge of the main related legislative texts and must be able to apply them into specific cases.

Course Prerequisites

The knowledge of the fundamental notions of private and commercial law is required.

Teaching Methods

Frontal lesson.

Assessment Methods

The exam consists of one or more preliminary and optional written tests and a final interview. The final evaluation, expressed in thirtieths, takes into account both the preliminary written tests (which are not compulsory) ant the finale interview.

The course in divided in two modules: the first is dedicated to banking law and the second to financial intermediaries.
