Syllabus

Course Objectives


At the end of the course the student:
1) he has knowledge of the basic notions of Atmospheric Physics.
2) Acquires knowledge of atmospheric processes, the physical laws that regulate them and their influence on the environment.
​​​​​​​3) Acquires knowledge of the main atmospheric chemical processes and their influence on the environment.

Course Prerequisites


Prerequisites of knowledge of mathematical analysis and classical physics are required.

Teaching Methods


All lessons will include face-to-face teaching. Each student will be personally involved in all phases of the program and will be encouraged to develop a critical sense towards what they learn.

Assessment Methods


The learning verification will take place through an oral test.

This course prepares students majoring in Geological Sciences and Technologies of the Earth and Planets in the principles of Atmospheric Physics. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts and applications of Atmospheric Physics
