Syllabus

Course Objectives

Students will become familiar with the key concepts of telemonitoring, from remote clinical data acquisition to data-processing algorithm design and ethical assessment. These concepts will be declined considering real-life case studies.

Course Prerequisites

Basics of programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and data mining

Teaching Methods

Lectures and case studies addressed through project work using programming tools

Assessment Methods

Design and development of a project work, to be presented through an oral presentation and a written report.
In addition to the discussion on the project, learning will be verified through questions on the entire program.
