Syllabus

Course Objectives

To provide the basis for the knowledge of low-tech diagnostic and advanced imaging diagnostic techniques.
To provide concepts of surgical physio-pathology with particular attention to the devices used for the reduction of intraocular pressure through the different surgical techniques available.

Course Prerequisites

To provide students the basic concepts of glaucoma, leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.

Surgical experiences by using the surgical simulator
