Course Objectives

At the end of the course, students will be able to motivate and instruct the different types of patients in the control and removal of oral bacterial plaque in order to prevent, reduce and control oral-dental pathologies in different clinical conditions.

Course Prerequisites

Neither specific knowledge and skills nor prerequisites are requested.

Teaching Methods

The teaching is structured in traditional lectures with multimedia support and/or distant education by online learning; preclinical exercises; individual or group internship activities.

Assessment Methods

The level of learning achieved will be evaluated with a final exam consisting of an oral and/or written test and practice exercises aimed to ascertain the standard of knowledge reached on the theoretical contents indicated in the program.
