Syllabus

Course Objectives


The educational objective aims at the knowledge and understanding of appropriate techniques to carry out the activities in response to the needs of care and the development of the ability to apply these procedures. The student will be able to perform the right performance based on a careful identification of needs and critically evaluating the outcome of the choice made. It will also develop an effective level of communication with users, modulating its language based on the interlocutor's comprehension skills




Course Prerequisites


It is necessary to have passed and passed the exams foreseen in the study plan of the first year of the course




Teaching Methods


The laboratory activities are a form of interactive teaching addressed to a small group of students; this activity is supported by a tutor. Experiential learning takes place in the nursing laboratory through the use of dummies and teaching aids designed for simulation.

Laboratory tutors alternate according to their area of expertise. The calendar of training appointments is published on the CdS website.




Assessment Methods


Verification of learning is included in the "Traineeship" exam.

Minutes are scheduled for 100% attendance at training sessions.

Contents


The student during the laboratory activity foreseen in the 2nd year, consolidates and perfects the skills acquired in the first year, as well as experiments in acquiring the skills to provide nursing care in the adult person of medium and high complexity with both acute and chronic problems .

Elements are provided to learn how to organize, carry out and evaluate care activities with appropriate techniques, in compliance with the fundamental scientific principles of the profession. Students are directed to adapt the services to the assisted person, in relation to the different pathologies, to the different operating sectors and at different ages. Elements are provided for the correct application of diagnostic-therapeutic prescriptions.
