Syllabus

Course Objectives


The form, in compliance with the provisions from art.3 "SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED SKILLS", provides the student with the necessary tools to: a systematic approach according to the indications of scientific societies and international experts in the sector; recognize clinical signs to identify the cause of the onset of lesions; provide theoretical-practical knowledge on the correct treatment of skin lesions, using a homogeneous and standardized technical-scientific language among healthcare professionals; provide knowledge on technical innovations, new materials and devices, more suitable for each specific condition.

Course Prerequisites


It is necessary to have taken and passed the exams set out in the study plan for the second year of the course, first semester.

Teaching Methods


Frontal lessons with the aid of iconographic material in Power Point files and videos; Presentation and discussion of clinical cases; Clinical case treatment simulations; Practical test of compression bandages.

Assessment Methods


The application of the information provided through the discussion of clinical cases in the classroom is expected. Minutes are required certifying 100% attendance at the training meetings.
