Syllabus

Course Objectives


At the end of the course the student will be able to: manage the nursing process in the pediatric and hospitalization environment; manage the sick child and his family in consideration of the psychological, communicative, relational and psychopathological aspects; manage pediatric pharmacological therapy welcome the newborn and manage neonatal prophylaxis, adaptation of the transactional period; manage and promote breastfeeding; manage emergencies/neonatal emergencies

Course Prerequisites


Undertansding the form requires the necessary and deep knowledge of the nursing process and the care plan; it is fundamental that the student has taken and passed the exams provided for in the first year of the course

Teaching Methods


The course is carried out through interactive teaching, with support tools such as PC with power point files for a total 30 hours

Assessment Methods


learning is assessed with an oral test that consist of a discussion, aimed at asking the level of knowledge reachid by the student
The evaluetion is expressed thirty and the exam is passed if the evaluation is equal to or highter than 18/30:
The indicators are: extention of knowlege acquired, of their understnding and application, ability to analysis and argumentative synthesisi, appropriate language
