IN21B1D - GENERAL SURGERY (CA4)

At the end of the course, students must be familiar with the organization of the surgical department and the operating room. They must be aware of the roles played by medical and nursing staff and the activities carried out in the surgical units, collaborating with these professionals in order to fully implement the care pathway. Furthermore, at the end of the course, they will be able to manage any critical issues that may arise within the hospital and in the local area. Finally, students must acquire a sufficient command of the terms and meanings of the main surgical procedures.
