- the composition and function of the human genome
- the importance of genetic factors for origin of Hereditary diseases,
- abnormalities and developmental disorders in humans

The course on Medical Genetics will deal with topics focused on the study of the genetic basis of the normal and pathological human characters. Topics such as the genetics of congenital diseases, genetics of cancer, genetics of common diseases, reproduction, prenatal diagnosis, neonatal screening will be analyzed
