Syllabus

Course Objectives


To comprehend the physiopathological, cellular, and molecular underpinnings of major human diseases. Understanding the interrelationships between intrinsic and extrinsic etiological agents and their pathogenetic mechanisms that influence human health, with particular emphasis on conditions relevant to dental patient management.

Course Prerequisites


Successful completion of the physiology examination.

Teaching Methods


Lectures complemented by PowerPoint presentations, in-class exercises, and specialized seminars.

Assessment Methods


The examination comprises an oral assessment designed to evaluate the candidate's subject matter knowledge, comprehension, and ability to establish connections between topics within the syllabus. The candidate's presentation skills and linguistic proficiency will also be assessed.
