Assessment Methods

Learning outcomes will be assessed through a final oral examination to verify the achievement of the educational objectives.
Evaluation criteria will include the correct use of discipline-specific language, knowledge and mastery of the subject matter, clarity of presentation, and the ability to synthesize and critically analyze cardiovascular pathologies. The student will be asked questions on topics covered in the syllabus. The final grade will be expressed out of thirty. The exam will not be passed if the student demonstrates an inability to answer a question, fails to provide arguments on the topic, or reveals gaps during the discussion with the instructor that prevent understanding of the subject matter.

The exam result will be expressed on a scale of thirty and graded progressively based on the demonstration of knowledge, appropriate use of language, and logical and coherent presentation:
- Basic but incomplete knowledge: grade 18-22/30
- Adequate knowledge and clear presentation: grade 23-25/30
- Good knowledge and ability to discuss topics with proper language and mastery of the subject: grade 26-28/30
- Excellent knowledge of topics, excellent presentation skills, and critical reasoning: grade 28-30/30
