Syllabus

Course Objectives


The general aim of the course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of occupational therapy in the choice of aids. The aim is to provide a basic knowledge of technologies and aids for rehabilitation, indipendence, school, work and social integration of people with
disabilities in relation to the role of the OT in the prescribing process. At the end of the course, the student will achieve the following specific objectives:

- knowledge of aids and technologies present in the rehabilitation landscape and classifications

- knowledge of the prescription path, of the reference legislation

- Acquisition of knowledge and skills needed to evaluate aisd and/or technologies

- Develop knowledge and skills about the personalization of aids and/or technologies

Course Prerequisites


Prerequisites are indicated in the didactic regulations

Teaching Methods


The course is divided into 20 hours of frontal teaching. During the lessons the aids will be presented demonstrating their functioning in small laboratories.
