Syllabus

Course Objectives


Acquire knowledge relating to the etiopathogenesis of obstetric-gynecological emergencies; also learn the techniques of diagnosis and treatment of obstetric-gynecological emergencies through the application of diagnostic-therapeutic protocols drawn up in accordance with evidence-based medicine.

Teaching Methods


The teaching is structured in 15 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2 or 3 hours according to the academic calendar.

Assessment Methods


Oral exam. Written test with multiple choice quiz. The assessment will be expressed by a vote out of thirty.

Lecture notes. Pescetto, De Cecco, Pecorari, Ragni. Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Contents


The program is primarily focused on the treatment of obstetric emergencies, including medical emergencies of major obstetric conditions. The main gynecological emergencies will then be treated with particular attention to differential diagnostics.
