Acquire the etiological and pathogenetic knowledge of the diseases that can arise in pregnancy, both those induced by pregnancy and those independent of it. Learn the techniques of diagnosis and clinical management of the aforementioned diseases through the application of diagnostic-therapeutic protocols drawn up in accordance with evidence-based medicine.

Teaching Methods
The teaching is structured in 30 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2 or 3 hours according to the academic calendar.
Assessment Methods
Oral exam. Written test with multiple choice quiz. The assessment will be expressed by a vote out of thirty.

Contents
The program includes topics in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric pathology. In the field of maternal-fetal medicine, the main medical pathologies that can complicate pregnancy will be treated. Congenital fetal pathologies, infectious diseases and fetal growth disorders will also be treated. In the field of obstetric pathology, all pathologies related to pregnancy, childbirth and post- partum will be treated .
