Course Objectives

- Understand the concepts of media education, media literacy and data literacy. - Develop critical thinking about the media - Be able to design teaching and educational programmes using digital media and artificial intelligence

Written and oral exam During the course, partial design tests, case studies and guided reflection will be scheduled.

Contents

The course will be divided into three parts: - theoretical content: the concepts of media education, media literacy and data literacy will be explored, along with the educational frameworks needed to address the issue of digital citizenship in schools and training environments. - workshop: design of tools and use of digital resources to be used in different educational contexts, particularly in schools. - in-depth study of Artificial Intelligence and its uses in education.
