Syllabus

Course Objectives

The educational objectives of this module fall within the PROFESSIONAL, RELATIONAL, AND MANAGEMENT areas. In particular, among the expected outcomes, the graduate in osteopathy, through this course, should be able to - Establish a health agreement with the patient; - Be able to obtain informed consent for treatment; - Interact with the patient or their guardians in compliance with current regulations (e.g., privacy regulations); - Be able to interact and collaborate with other professionals.

Course Prerequisites

A good understanding of human biology and anatomy and the principles of osteopathy will be fundamental to understanding the holistic approach of the osteopath.

Lectures will be carried out with the help of multimedia devices

Assessment Methods

The objective of the learning assessment will be to ascertain the student's ability to organize the acquired knowledge discursively, to develop critical reasoning about the study conducted, and to present the contents clearly, demonstrating mastery in the use of specialized vocabulary. The assessment will be conducted through an oral exam, during which the topics included in the module's program will be requested. The grade for each individual module will be expressed in thirtieths, while the overall evaluation of the integrated course will be determined by the average of the grades obtained in the individual modules.
