Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course of Topographic Anatomy aims at providing students with notions related to the three-dimensional representation of organs in the human body, in relation to their projection on specific regions. The student will be given knowledge of the limits of spaces and cavities, the relationships that the various organs have with vascular, lymphatic and nervous structures and with surrounding bone and muscle ones.

Teaching Methods


Frontal lessons: in the classroom, with presentations in Power Point format of anatomical tables and images from cadavers. Participation and interactivity will be stimulated by discussion of the topics in the classroom. The teaching material will beavailable at:

Assessment Methods


Written exam with 15 multiple choice questions. Two points for each correct answer will be assigned. The obtained result will be comunicated immediately after the exam.
