Syllabus

Course Objectives


The objective of the course is to provide a solid theoretical foundation aimed at training a highly qualified and specialized professional in the regulatory sector, both at the national and European level, as well as on a global scale. This professional will be able to ensure consumer safety through the marketing of controlled, compliant, and health-safe cosmetic products. At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

Understand and interpret relevant Italian and European regulations
Analyze regulatory documents
Assess the compliance of a cosmetic product
Identify borderline products
Draft and analyze regulatory documentation

Assessment Methods


The assessment of the student's learning is based on an oral interview to evaluate the knowledge and in-depth and critical understanding of the topics inherent to the course program. The grade is expressed in thirtieths. The exam is passed if an evaluation of the minimum score 18/30 is reached in the oral test. The final grade will be assigned according to the following scale:

18–22/30: sufficient knowledge but with gaps;
23–25/30: fair knowledge, clear presentation.
26–28/30: good command of the content;
29–30/30: excellent knowledge, ability to make connections and provide context;
30 cum laude: correct answers to all questions.

The exams take place during the academic calendar of the training offer in the number indicated by the Degree Course Council in Cosmetic Science and Technology
