Course Objectives


General view of the methodologies of study of the processes of cultural interaction through the study of the dynamics of the formation of the Roman world. In order to improve the knowledge of the students about historical geography of the Mediterranean in the Roman times. Look at the inter-cultural connections between Rome and the provinces. Investigate about the variegated forms of artistic cultures included within the Roman Empire.

Lectures, slides, seminars and other specific topics will be presented by the professor and by several colleagues invited for the conferences.

Italian, but for foreign students also English, French and Spanish are accepted.
