Course Objectives


Knowledge of psychology history and main psychology theories.
Knowledge of psyche main function: intelligence, emotions, memory, personality and needs analysis.
Patient and psychological aspects, healthcare professional, patient and caregiver relationship.
Stress and stressful reaction, communication skills in helping relationship.

Conflict, Frustration and Adaptation: Stress Reaction and Burnout.
Communication methods in helping relationship: communication axioms of Wazlawich; model 101 of Berne; empathic communication and non-violent communication.
