Course Objectives

Know the conceptual models of nursing care;
Apply the process of nursing and orient the nursing action with responsibility, ethics and ethics in the professional exercise aimed at the
person, family and community.

Specific training objectives and expected skill. Know, manage and evaluate nursing care based on the guiding principles: Caring, Empathy Relationship/Therapeutic Education
- Implementing the nursing process through assessment methods and
tools
- Use the nursing process in taking charge of users

- the application of technical and planning interventions of care according
to the clinical method and the evidence guiding decision-making
- describe the appearance of signs and symptoms on the patient, their
interrelation and how they can be assessed;
- describe the main interactions between drugs;
- describe the mode of administration of drug therapy by natural route;
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding (Applying knowledge and understanding)
- conduct a comprehensive and systematic assessment of individual care
needs - use evaluation techniques to collect accurate data on the main health
problems of patients
- to analyse and interpret accurately the data collected through the
examination of the witness
- planning the provision of nursing care in cooperation with users and the

Course Prerequisites

Have attended the module for 70% of the lectures of the Integrated
Course of Nursing Applied to Health and Social Education I

Teaching Methods

The course will be carried out through interactive lectures with the help
of iconographic material in Power Point files for a total of 2 credits equal
to a total of 30 hours.

The method of verification of learning: is based on an oral test.

To pass the exam you must obtain a grade of not less than 18/30.
To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate

Evaluate and intervene in the person’s issues regarding:
- Nutrition and metabolism
- Urinary and faecal elimination
- Sleep and rest
- Safe administration of drug therapy
- Elaboration of the final phase: death
Collect clinical data and make diagnoses
Nursing (systems of classification of nursing phenomena: Diagnostic
taxonomy N.A.N.D.A.; objective classification/ results N.O.C.; classification
of priority interventions N.I.C) and develop nursing plans in relation to
needs.
