Syllabus

Course Objectives

This theoretical course aims to provide the student with the knowledge
fundamentals on the main categories of cosmetic products, on
raw materials used for their preparation and on evaluation aspects
and legislation that characterize and regulate both production and
marketing of cosmetics.

Course Prerequisites

Understanding the physiology of human skin and the biochemical mechanisms underlying the functioning of skin tissue. Organic and physical chemistry.

Teaching Methods

The teaching activities will be carried out through the involvement and direct participation of the students in the frontal lessons. The student will have to actively intervene in proposing common problems relating to the use, characteristics and composition of cosmetic products. The teacher will stimulate the student's ability to identify possible solutions.

Assessment Methods

The verification will be carried out on an ongoing basis. The student will be continuously involved in intervening and being an active part of the learning phase. The continuously stimulated student will develop critical skills that will make him suitable.
