Course Objectives

TRAINING OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS: According to the Dublin descriptors, the educational objectives are aimed to provide the student with the basic knowledge of biomechanics and the conceptual tools necessary to be able to effectively continue the training course and to develop analytical and technical skills useful for the evaluation of human movement (knowledge and understanding, applying knowledge and understanding). At the end of the course the student will have to demonstrate to have learned the basic notions and methods of biomechanics, to have reached the knowledge and skills to understand a problem related to the biomechanics of the human body, to be able to give an independent judgement on problems related to the biomechanics of the human body, to be able to communicate the own opinions to people with the same competences and also to people with no specific competences, and to be able to manipulate these ideas and methods in a manner appropriate to the scientific training and professional needs of a graduate in Sports and Fitness Activities (communication skills).
