Contents

The course proposes to offer a pedagogical orientation to the corporate world, recovering the extensive theoretical treatment in the field of work pedagogy that, for years, has been proposing a humanistic vision of corporate work, focused on the value of the person, understood in his or her uniqueness and irreplaceability, far from any form of dehumanisation and subjection to values that are primarily productive. The starting point is that emotional and psychological wellbeing, respect and consideration in the work context also significantly improve the level of performance and thus of the company's productive success in general. The basic idea is that of a ‘humanistic capitalism’, like the one experienced in Brunello Cucinelli's highly successful corporate experience, oriented towards care and wellbeing in the workplace, in which work time can generate productive and creative impulses starting from respect for human value in the first place, to go through the recovery of inner and philosophical instances of existence. The theme of the Welfare manager, welfare and personal care in the corporate world will be placed in the recognition of a necessary review of corporate models increasingly focused on a new humanism of work, also taking into account the new, increasingly preponderant role of artificial intelligence and the digital turn within work and production contexts, aspects also analysed from an ethical perspective.
