Course Module: Methods for the Assessment of Motor and Sport Activity

Teaching Methods

Teaching Methods
The lessons are delivered in a traditional lecture-based format.
Nevertheless, the course includes several examples of Problem-Based Learning (PBL).
These activities will be carried out using both Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) and Collaborative Problem-Solving Learning, allowing students to actively engage with realistic research and assessment scenarios.

Assessment Methods

Examination Format
The exam will be structured as follows:
Written exam with multiple‑choice questions,
for a total of 18 questions:

9 questions on Physical Activity and Health Promotion
(pass with at least 6 correct answers out of 9)

9 questions on Research Methodology in Motor and Sport Sciences
(pass with at least 6 correct answers out of 9)

Students who pass both modules will have the following options for recording their final grade:

Record the written exam with a grade of 18/30, or

Record the written exam and optionally improve the grade through an oral integration, consisting of 1 to 4 oral questions, chosen by the student.

The grading system for the oral integration is as follows:

1 correct answer → 24/30

2 correct answers → 27/30

3 correct answers → 30/30

4 correct answers → 30L (cum laude)
