Inclusiva, attiva e adattiva: la progettazione della città centrata sull’utenza

IT] Il contributo ripercorre il tema della “progettazione centrata sull’utenza” nelle due principali tendenze che si sono evolute nel corso della storia, la prima centrata sull’architettura come “misura” dell’attività dell’uomo e la seconda sull’ambiente costruito in relazione alla “dimensione esperienziale” dell’uomo.
Restituendo centralità all’utente e al livello di soddisfacimento delle sue esigenze di benessere, nel testo sono analizzati alcuni temi e requisiti con cui occorre confrontarsi per garantire, negli interventi sulla città, quella sana osmosi tra le conoscenze dei bisogni fisiologici, psicologi e culturali dell’uomo con quelle progettuali rivolte a salvaguardare la sicurezza, la salute e l’integrità psicofisica umana.
EN] This essay aims to investigate the theme of the “User-Centered Design” starting from two main trends that have evolved throughout the history: the first, focused on the architecture as a ‘measure’ of human activity and the second, based on the relations of the built environment with the ‘experiential dimensions’ of the user. The proposed method places the users’ needs at the core of the design process. Through the definition of design requirements and criteria it is explored the possibili- ties to characterize the human works on the city for a healthy osmosis between users’ physical, psychological, and cultural needs with the project specifications aimed to safeguarding safety, health and psychophysical integrity of the inhabitants.
