La traduzione dei “realia" storici russi in italiano: aspetti teorici e didattici

“The translation of Russian historical realia into Italian. Theoretical and didactic aspects”
The present work deals with the translation of the so-called historical realia from Russian into Italian nonfiction. The work is divided into two parts. In the first, after giving a definition of historical realia as words and phraseologisms referring to titles, ranks, social and civil functions, socio-political concepts, events and institutions, a theoretical approach to the question is proposed. In the second part there are some practical exemplifications of the main problems in translating Russian historical realia into Italian: changing of the meaning of the referent over the centuries; semantic shifts; false friends. The practical section of the work takes into account the didactic purposes of Italian academical courses in advanced Russian.
