Navigating the Digital Self: Implications of Neurotechnologies on Cognitive Autonomy and Rights Awareness
Articolo
Data di Pubblicazione:
2024
Abstract:
In the digital age, neurotechnologies promise profound transformations in the way we understand and navigate our self. The repercussions on cognitive autonomy and the perception of rights are more significant than the rights themselves: by influencing our identity and agency, novel technologies erode the awareness of rights. In this context, it becomes crucial to consider their ethical and legal implications through a multidisciplinary analysis, combining elements of psychology, law, and philosophy.
