When EDIT16 met SBN: behind the scenes of the latest developments of the online bibliography of sixteenth-century Italian books

Abstract:
This chapter presents the latest developments of EDIT16, the online bibliography of sixteenth-century Italian books. EDIT16 was born in the 1980 and became available online as a self-standing database from March 2000. Between 2018 and 2021 it was completely redesigned and is now connected to the union catalogue of Italian libraries SBN, allowing the two databases to link and share their authority and bibliographic data.
