The present invention relates to a transport medium for isolation and identification of Helicobacter pylori.
More in detail, the invention relates to a transport medium of the said type, in particular intended for transporting gastric biopsies for culturing and recovering Helicobacter pylori, which is in a semi-solid state and provides optimal conditions for maintaining the viability of the micro-organism.
