Heritage in conflict. Memory, history, architecture

The book analyses the interaction between memory and architecture and their manipulation in different periods of history. Post-civil-war Spain and post II World War Europe faced the presence of memory in ruins, cities, monuments; milestones which had been politically or ideologically manipulated. Post-war reconstruction and restoration were determinated by these circumstances.
