UNALI Maurizio

Maurizio Unali (Rome 1960) earned his degree in Architecture, graduating with honours, from the ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome, where he successively completed his PhD in “Drawing and Surveying Architectural Heritage”.
He is a full professor in Architectural Design with the Faculty of Architecture in Pescara (‘G. D’Annunzio’ University of Chieti-Pescara), where he directs the Digital Representation Laboratory.
In 1997 he was amongst the founders of the international magazine “il Progetto”, and is currently a member of its scientific committee.
His scientific activities (evidence of which can be found in numerous publications and an intense participation in research programmes, conferences and exhibitions) and didactic work (matured in over 20 years of teaching with various universities) focus on the Representation of Real and Virtual Architectural Space.

He has also written for the Enciclopedia di Roma edited by Franco Maria Ricci, and for the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana, founded by G. Treccani.
