Studio degli effetti della gravità alterata su modelli di cellule germinali umane medianti approcci omici e tecnologie avanzate

Project
The Agreement aimed to develop a systematic study about the response of human germ cells to altered gravity. This area of research is of particular relevance in the context of human space exploration objectives. This project, of both scientific and health interest in consideration of the long human stays in space, involves ground-based scientific research activities on experimental in vitro models, preparatory to experimentation in a real microgravity environment. In particular, the project intends to study the effects of altered gravity on germ cell models using -omics approaches (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, ceRNet - competitive endogenous RNA network) and advanced microscopy and cytometry technologies.
