Skills
At the end of the course students should be able to critically tackle the examination of a text in “tradizione d’autore” both through comparison of various critical editions and through direct examination of printed and manuscript testimonies.

Critical thinking skills
Students should acquire sufficient skills to evaluate the textual and representational choices of previous editors, in the perspective of the production of a critical edition of a brief text in “tradizione d’autore”.

Communication Skills

In the workshop of Leopardi’s Canti (=6 ECTS).
The question of macro- and micro-textual drawing up of some Leopardi’s lyrics redactions (from the autographs down to the final form included in the final draft of the Canti’s book) will be tackled.
