Syllabus

Course Objectives


The course is aimed to defining the concepts of training and educational professions and at providing students with adequate critical tools to make them understand the great importance of the pedagogical reflection in the training of educational professions.

Expected learning outcomes.

Knowledge of the development of the educational professions.The ability to expose the knowledge acquired.The ability to critically examine the historical evolution of the educational professions and the ability to critically examine the interaction and historical evolution of different cultural perspectives.


Teaching Methods


The course consists of lectures, seminars and individual study. The planned activities can be supplemented by assisted study activities either / or by attendance at the conferences and study days.


Assessment Methods


Oral exam or written test (multiple choice items).

An oral exam of variable duration will take place, during which knowledge, skills and competences will be tested.

In case of written test, the exam is based on a multiple choice test (30 questions - 45 minutes).

Contents


Starting from the historical analysis, the course analyzes the concept of training, the relationship between educational sciences and educational professions in different contexts, with particular attention to the most recent legislation on the subject.

Expected learning outcomes.

Knowledge of the educational evolution in the modern and contemporary age.

Ability to expose the knowledge acquired.

Ability to critically examine the historical evolution of formal, informal and non-formal educational professions and ability to critically examine the interaction and historical evolution of different cultural perspectives.


Course Language


Italian (English for some topics which need to be better deepened).
