Course Objectives

Educational goals The aim of the course is to study the rules governing management and the methods of implementation of the Quality System, taking into account safety and compliance in general of products and services. Examples are companies that pursue, by controlling all levels of the process, the satisfaction of consumer needs, taking into account costs and company efficiency. Expected learning outcomes KNOWLEDGE At the end of the course, students will have the knowledge tools to: - Know the historical evolution of the concept of quality; - Deepen the study of quality management and certification systems. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING At the end of the course students will be able to: - Describe and detail the quality manuals and tools used in customer satisfaction. COMMUNICATION SKILLS At the end of the course students will have acquired the following skills communicative: - know how to use economic language appropriately; - present and rigorously discuss the technical-economic relationships related to the topics studied.

Teaching Methods

The course is divided into 72 hours of frontal teaching. The lessons are carried out by the teacher and have a strong component interactive with students. Attendance is optional, but recommended

Assessment Methods

TYPE OF EXAMINATION Oral LEARNING VERIFICATION METHODS The verification of the students' preparation will take place through a interview (oral exam), consisting of 3-4 questions concerning the topics to be taught. The ability to re-elaborate reference materi communication skills and the maturity to develop critical thinking will also be tested. The evaluation will be expressed in thirtieths. VOTE Vote in thirtieths

Contents

The course focuses on the historical evolution of the concept of quality in its broadest meanings and on the phases through which an elementary concept gave rise to the formation of a real discipline which ranges from technical sciences to human and organizationa sciences, from industry to services, including those of the pu administration. The course includes a broad examination of the analysis of quality systems, quality management systems, certifications, and customer satisfaction evaluation methodologies, also paying particular attention to product quality with reference to the agri-food sector.
