OR12A4A - GENERAL AND SOCIAL PEDAGOGY

Provide the basis of pedagogy applied to healthcare contexts, with particular reference to useful knowledge in the field of helping relationships such as empathy, active listening, communication, attention to life stories and narratives as specified in the theoretical-operational model of narrative medicine and humanistic medicine of a hermeneutic and phenomenological nature.
1) KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND:
- know and apply the major reference theories to specific cases;
- acquire empathic and relational skills in the helping professions;
- acquire skills related to active listening and establish relational trust;
2) ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
- ability to conceive and design services for the person in light of the theoretical constructs learned;
- ability to manage skills and actions within multidisciplinary team groups, enhancing their respective skills and peculiarities.
3) INDEPENDENT JUDGMENTS:
- critically apply knowledge to practical cases;
- Reflexivity and critical thinking from a complexity perspective.
4) COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Application of narrative and hermeneutic dialogic models;
- narrative and interview techniques;
- effective and empathetic communication.
5) ABILITY TO LEARN:
- develop learning autonomy also through individual or group in-depth work;
- ability to develop interdisciplinary theoretical and practical connections.
