SPACONE ENRICO

Enrico Spacone is Professor of Structural Analysis and Structural Design at the Università di Chieti-Pescara. He was a member of the Academic Senate of the Univerità D'Annunzio and was the founding Chair of the Department of Engineering and Geology. Before joining UdA, he was Assistant Professor and the tenured Associate Professor at the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA. He received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the Università La Sapienza of Rome and his MS e PhD degrees in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, USA. His main research interests are modeling and experimentation in seismic engineering, seismic risk and multi-risk analyses at different scales. He maintains strong international collaborations with European, Asian e North-American universities. He has co-authored about 200 papers, of which around 100 in peer-reviewed international journals
