Curriculum Vitae
Architect, Ph.D., MSc in Ergonomics, he is Full Professor of Industrial Design. He has held teaching positions at several Italian universities, including Rome, Milan, Palermo, Florence, and Chieti-Pescara, where he is currently President of the Master’s Degree Program in Eco-Inclusive Design and teaches “Product Design” and “Design for Inclusion” at the Department of Architecture.
His main research interests focus on the relationships and synergies between Design, Ergonomics, and Design for All, areas in which he has participated in numerous research projects and international conferences. He has authored numerous essays and publications.
He serves as Chair of the International Conference on Design for Inclusion, held as part of the Annual International Congress of AHFE (Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics).
He has held and continues to hold national and international roles within the Design for All scientific community: he has served as President of Design for All Italia and as President of the international association EIDD – Design for All Europe.
He has taken part in numerous international architecture and design competitions, receiving several awards.
Professionally, he has worked mainly as an Industrial Designer. Some of his products have been exhibited at major international fairs and exhibitions in Milan, Verona, Moscow, Paris, New York, and Brussels, earning international recognition and being reviewed in prestigious design magazines.
